This past Saturday night, in a crowded, dimly lit Allston basement, Noisebreaker played their last set together. Their cover of The Beatles’ “Helter Skelter” resonated off exposed brick walls and had everyone dancing where they stood. Noisebreaker also included some eclectic originals like “I’m On Drugs” and “Mile a Minute,” the first of which can be a bit unsettling if you’ve never seen the band before. The trio’s set sat sandwiched between locals Dead Trains and The Womps, while Rough Cuts started the night.
Our friends Noisebreaker will be missed, but we’re excited to see what will come next. RIP.
